Description of main R&I activities

Dourogás Renovável was the first to produce biometane in Portugal that can be used in the GNV market. We have a full operational Biometane filling station that is placed in Urjais, Mirandela. We already make some studies regarding the comparison with NG. Our station is capable of producing 50 Nm3/h of biometane that can supply a small fleet of vehicles. We already have large experience with vehicles that use Biometane as everyday fuel.

Key contributions for the CoLAB

Dourogás Renovável will focus and contribute to knowledge and development in upgrading Biogas to Biometane, development of new processes for the actual technologies. Insight of the GNV market.
